HK Marathon Support

Whether you are a new runner taking on your first race, an experienced runner looking to set a new personal best, or simply interested in becoming more active, the Support Programme by CSE is here to help HKU students, staff and alumni prepare for the upcoming Standard Chartered Hong Kong Marathon (17 January, 2027). This Support Programme is designed to support your training, prevent injuries, and promote a lifelong commitment to active living.

In the lead-up to the Marathon, we will share information about an exciting range of support delivered exclusively to HKU participants who have successfully entered the ballot. This will include:

  • Seminars to help improve your training and performance
  • Health, nutrition, and recovery guidance
  • Opportunities to connect with fellow HKU runners
  • Race-day booth, photography, and giveaways
  • Post-event recovery tools
  • And much more!

  • Our 10-week Strength Training for Runners courses, designed to help prevent common running injuries and ensure you make it to the start line in peak condition.
  • Our 6-week HKURun courses, focusing on running drills, posture, technique, pacing strategies, and conditioning for long-distance races.
  • VO2max and lactate threshold testing, providing physiological data to optimize your training and race planning.
