Welcoming Luncheon for Sports Scholars (2022/23)

To welcome the 2022/23 cohort of Sports Scholars to join the HKU family, CSE had specially hosted a Welcoming Luncheon for them on 3 October, 2022 (Mon) to celebrate their sports achievements. The occasion also provided the Sports Scholars with an opportunity to get to know CSE staff, who would work closely with them in the coming years on their training and career development in sports whilst pursuing their academic excellence in HKU.
Apart from Dr Michael Tse (CSE Director) and all the Team Advisors of CSE, also joining the Welcoming Luncheon was the special guest, Ms Monica Wong, Director (Alumni Affairs) of Development & Alumni Affairs Office, who also took the opportunity to show the support to HKU outstanding Sports Scholars with another admission pathway to study in the University.
After giving his welcoming remark to Sports Scholars, Dr Tse also presented a souvenir (a tee-shirt specially made for Sports Scholars) and a Certificate of Recognition to all of them. Despite the luncheon was just a short gathering, everyone enjoyed the occasion a lot indeed. Most importantly, it signified a new beginning for both CSE staff and sports scholars who definitely would work hard together to bring new heights to the HKU Sports.
Lastly, CSE wishes the 2022/23 cohort of Sports Scholars all the best in their dual-track career developments in HKU!
