2021-22 Sports Scholars Gathering

To welcome the newest batch of Sports Scholar awardees to join the HKU family in 2021/22, CSE hosted a gathering on 19 October, 2021 (Tue) at HKU B-Active to celebrate Sports Scholars excellence and achievements in sports and to give them a chance to meet each other. This gathering also provided them an opportunity to mingle with CSE staff, who would be advising and helping them during their studies and continued pursuit of sport.
Dr Michael Tse, CSE Director, gave a welcoming remark to the Sports Scholars, who were also given a tour of the HKU B-Active. All Sports Scholars also received a special Sports Scholar Polo Shirt, which were generously sponsored by Adidas. During the gathering Mr Alan Wong also introduced Sports Scholars to the new High Performance area at HKU B-Active and let the new awardees know how they can make use of these fine facilities, which provide a unique privilege for Sports Scholars. Special guest Ms Bernadette Tsui, Associate Vice-President (Development & Alumni Affairs), also joined the event and presented Sports Scholars with their certificates of recognition. She was also joined by other colleagues at DAAO to show their support of Sports Scholars.
